Thimbleby Hall is a hunting and shooting country house venue owned by the Shelley family in the north east Yorkshire Moors. Mark Gillette Design provided the layouts for our provision of Roman stone mosaic floors for the family bathroom areas. This was laid onto a solid heated flooring system so our offering was to use the Fleximesh solution of 5mm stones bonded onto this mesh background. As a result there are few joints to be seen and what there is is tight fitting. We offered all of these designs in a digital format first for the client to approve. The floor was fully coated in a matte stone sealer to protect from staining.
